Mr. Richard's and Ms. Shaw's second grade art classes along with Mrs. Barnett's high school Ceramics I and Ceramics Studio classes recently collaborated on the Gnome Project. During art class, second grade students created their own original gnome drawing. Ceramics students were then able to choose a drawing and bring the design to life by creating a three-dimensional clay sculpture. The high school students traveled to the elementary school on January 8th, where the second-grade designers were able to meet the high school artist and see their sculpture for the first time.
